My Submission to Hashtag Kalakar

Hello everyone who is subscribed to my writing site Farberisms.com. I have been listed in a competition for a poem I wrote. My submission is linked here. My piece is The Long Sleep: A Trilogy of Time. This is one of the Trilogies I wrote for a book I'm just finishing, called Creaks From My Rails, a book of poetry inspired by old and familiar stories many of you know. I wrote, rewrote, reinterpreted, and put my spin on these stories for my grandchildren. My other book, A Lifetime of Yesterdays, is on track for 2026.

Enjoy this as it is one of 25 trilogies that will be in the book of poems. This one is about Sampson and Delilah. Have fun reading it. And if you can, please vote for me, drop a comment, and SHARE IT WITH OTHERS. If I win, my Lifetime book will get published.

A word about what you're going to read. I submitted three pages so that you will find poems 1, 2, and 3 near the title of each. Additionally, the title appears at the top of each page, so that is not a typo but the end of one page and the begining of another. Have fun with it.
