Collide like atoms on a course.
That tried to come together—force—
Bouncing off each other all night and day,
Leading the charge, finding the way.
Hitch up and come for the ride,
No reason to abide.
The teachers all knew they lied,
Or they just let you slide.
And were passed over, under, or around,
Thinking by now you'd be underground,
'Cept you showed up in the lost and found,
Ripping off the chains that kept you bound.
Their asses won't shine the sun's light,
'Cause their heads are stuck in them tight.
Still motivated to fight, good with might?
Or just refusing to give in to the blight.
Or anything worth doing,
Because it'll take my time—or what's left of it—
And a real effort to retrofit
You into something above the laws
Of nature with its surly paws.
Peace, Chris
